New Hampshire Interconnect Team

Welcome!

The New Hampshire Interconnect Team (NHIT) has been formed to establish a D-star repeater in Southern New Hampshire, with a longer range goal to promote the establishment of a Statewide D-Star network of repeaters. We have negotiated the use of a complete D-Star repeater stack, and intend to establish a repeater with internet Gateway within 6 months. When this is accomplished, full ownership of the repeater hardware will transfer to NHIT. This is an ambitious project, relying largely on the help of the amateur radio community for donations of time, funds, and expertise.

NHIT: News Update

October 30th, 2009

Since our last meeting several things have happened.

First, we have permission to move N1HIT repeater to Mt. Uncanoonuc (WMUR’s site), please stay tuned for updates on this move.

Secondly, Mike W1GEK has been busy getting our repeater server installed, configured and registered with the DSTAR system.  To that end, if you originally registered through N1HIT, you may need to re-register because we were dropped from the DSTAR registry.  To re-register following this link and select the Registration link:  https://n1hit.selfip.com/. <https://n1hit.selfip.com/>

A third piece of news is that the Super Stationmaster 2m antenna has a initial coat of epoxy paint, courtesy of Kriss KA1GJU.  Standby; we may need some assistance to apply another coat or two.

Please also find attached the minutes from the October general membership meeting.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Thanks and 73,

Scotty   WA1WJC

NHIT Secretary
