Here are the NHIT Meeting Minutes for the January 2010 meeting.

Just a reminder that the next NHIT monthly meeting will be held Tuesday, Febuary 9, 2010 at the Fremont Fire Station. The meeting will start at 1930 hours (7:30 PM). 

As usual there will be an informal dinner gathering next door at the Freemont House of Pizza. At least come and enjoy the conversation!

Since our last meeting several things have happened.

First, we have permission to move N1HIT repeater to Mt. Uncanoonuc (WMUR’s site), please stay tuned for updates on this move.

Secondly, Mike W1GEK has been busy getting our repeater server installed, configured and registered with the DSTAR system.  To that end, if you originally registered through N1HIT, you may need to re-register because we were dropped from the DSTAR registry.  To re-register following this link and select the Registration link:  https://n1hit.selfip.com/. <https://n1hit.selfip.com/>

A third piece of news is that the Super Stationmaster 2m antenna has a initial coat of epoxy paint, courtesy of Kriss KA1GJU.  Standby; we may need some assistance to apply another coat or two.

NEARFest is coming fast!  N1HIT needs YOU!  If you can help us man the N1HIT booth please go and sign up here  We plan to demonstrate D-Rats between radios and laptops.  I will be on hand the entire time at NEARFest and will be reachable via 2m’s on 145.150 simplex if anyone needs my help when I’m not manning the N1HIT booth.

Just a reminder that the next NHIT monthly meeting will be held TONIGHT, Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at the Fremont Fire Station. The meeting will start at 1930 hours (7:30 PM).  Topics this month will include:

• • HRO Flea Market and Yard Sale – Saturday, August 22nd 10am – 3pm. Volunteers are needed. A VE session, pre-registration not required, will be held during the event.
• • Membership chairman
• • Repeater Site update
